The Energy Regulatory Office issued a statement today addressing recent media coverage concerning allegations that its Board did not report to the Parliamentary Committee for Economy, Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation. The ZRRE firmly asserts that these assertions are completely unfounded. The Board of the Energy Regulatory Office clarified that, in strict adherence to the official invitation extended by the Parliamentary Committee for Economy, Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, it confirmed its participation yesterday.
Furthermore, representatives were physically present in the Parliament of Kosovo today, prepared to report and address the questions posed by the deputies. Despite this confirmation and physical presence, the Committee meeting did not materialize. Similarly, representatives from the ZRRE and deputies from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, LVV, were not in attendance.
This situation highlights the importance of accurate information and underscores the ZRRE’s commitment to transparently report on energy matters. The organization maintains that it fully cooperated with the committee’s intentions, but the lack of a scheduled meeting prevented the anticipated report.
