The Court meets today with Hamza and Abdixhik regarding the formation of new institutions

Albin Kurti, the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, is scheduled to hold separate consultative meetings today with prominent political figures in Kosovo regarding the formation of the country’s new institutions. These discussions include meetings with Bedri Hamza, the leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), and Lumir Abdixhiku, the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK). The schedule dictates that the meeting with Hamza is set for 9:00 AM, and the meeting with Abdixhiku is scheduled for 6:00 PM.

Both engagements are slated to take place at the premises of the Kosovo Assembly. These planned discussions follow Kurti’s action of dispatching letters requesting meetings with the leaders of the PDK, LDK, and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo. This outreach was confirmed by Government spokesperson, Fatlum Jashari.

The invitations were issued one day after the official certification of the parliamentary election results from July 7th. Regarding the participation, Bedri Hamza, the leader of the PDK, has publicly confirmed that his party has responded favorably to the invitation. These meetings are viewed as part of ongoing political consultations aimed at structuring the governance framework for Kosovo.
