The Government of the Republic of Kosovo convened an electronic meeting last Tuesday, resulting in the approval of several key decisions. Among the resolutions passed was the appointment of the new director for the Agency of Information Society (ASHI). The government officially named Ragmi Dalipi to assume the role of the General Director of ASHI.
Additionally, the government approved a final decision concerning the expropriation of former social enterprise real estate properties. These properties are currently managed and administered by the Kosovo Privatization Agency (AKP). The acquired real estate will be utilized to facilitate the execution of two specific projects within the Municipality of Gjakova.
The first project involves repurposing the former “Banko” building to meet the administrative needs of the municipality in Gjakova. The second initiative focuses on the development of recreational spaces in the village of Trakaniq, which includes the construction of a new football pitch. These decisions reflect the government’s ongoing efforts in infrastructure development and institutional management across various sectors.
The appointment of the director for ASHI signals a restructuring within the digital sector, while the expropriation of AKP assets aims to support local municipal development and public amenities in Gjakova.
