The first box of mail-in votes is counted, LVV goes up to 44%

At the Counting and Results Center, the initial ballot box of mail-in votes originating from the diaspora community within the municipality of Gjilani was processed. The count indicated that the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) secured a substantial majority of the votes cast in this specific box. Detailed results showed that LVV garnered 315 votes, representing 78.75 percent of the total ballots in that box.

Other parties received varying counts; the Democratic League of Kosovo obtained 65 votes, accounting for 16.25 percent, while the Democratic Party of Kosovo secured 17 votes, or 4.25 percent. The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo received the lowest count, totaling only two votes, or 0.50 percent. The inclusion of these votes into the overall national tally adjusted the cumulative results.

Following this addition, the Vetëvendosje Movement reached a national quota of 44 percent of the votes, totaling 308,883 votes. This figure corresponds to 50 seats in Parliament. The reporting also noted that candidates representing the Presheva Valley and Albania are not seated within the Parliament of Kosovo.
