The former Romanian Minister of Sport “explodes” with jealousy: A small state like Kosovo is giving us football lessons.

The former Romanian Sports Minister, Edurd Novak, has expressed considerable dissatisfaction regarding Kosovo’s rapid advancement in football. He finds it unacceptable that the Kosovo national team has now overtaken their Romanian counterparts. Kosovo is currently only one step away from qualifying for the World Cup, preparing to compete against Turkey and under the guidance of “Fadil Vokrri”.

Speaking in an interview with “prosport.ro”, Novak revealed a palpable sense of jealousy. He suggested that the “Albanians” had effectively provided football lessons to the Romanian team. Novak stated, “We simply offer apologies, but these apologies do not conceal the consistently poor results that have prevented our non-qualification for the World Cup.”

The former minister continued, lamenting a 20-year pattern of apologies and their ineffectiveness.

He emphasized that these expressions of regret fail to address the underlying issues contributing to their failure to reach the tournament. Novak added, “A small state like Kosovo is giving us football lessons. There’s only one explanation: they have invested in their players.”

He acknowledged the faith Kosovo’s leadership has in their players, predicting a potentially successful outcome for the nation.
