Neither the Vetëvendosje Movement nor the Democratic League has yet indicated a timeline for when institutional consensus on the matter might be reached. The political process saw activity last Tuesday when Albin Kurti, leader of LVV, met with Lumir Abdixhiku, leader of LDK, in an effort to mediate a solution concerning the presidency.
Following this meeting, both leaders stated that the dialogue would proceed through internal deliberation within their respective party structures. However, the subsequent week has seen a noticeable absence of organized party meetings from either major faction. This lack of visible coordination has deepened the political impasse.
During the meeting, LVV deputy Arbërie Nagavci acknowledged the positive nature of the initial discussions but noted that further steps remained unconfirmed.
