Labor Inspectorate Conducts Intensive 48-Hour Inspection Action
Prishtina, Kosovo – The Central Labor Inspectorate of Kosovo concluded an extraordinary inspection action over a 48-hour period, focusing on high-risk sectors across the Republic. The initiative, implemented at the direction of the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, aimed to ensure worker safety and compliance with labor regulations. During the operation, a total of 31 inspections were conducted, primarily within the construction sector.
A significant portion of the inspections, totaling 44, involved re-inspections of previously monitored sites. As a result of the extraordinary action, 13 establishments were temporarily shut down. Furthermore, 28 distinct measures were implemented to rectify identified irregularities and prevent future violations.
