A 28-year-old man from Skopje was transferred this afternoon from Bodrum, Turkey, to Skopje Airport via a government aircraft. The man sustained severe injuries after falling from a slide, which resulted in a broken cervical vertebra. Turkish health authorities authorized the air transfer of the 28-year-old instead of ground transport via ambulance.
The transport was approved by the Health Insurance Fund at the request of the man’s parents, and a decision was also issued by the Ministry of Health. A dedicated medical team accompanied the man on the government plane to monitor his condition. This team included Dr.
Arsovski, a colleague, and the head of traumatology. Regarding the man’s current status, a representative stated, “The patient is in a condition requiring intensive care. He will be placed in the intensive care unit.
We examined him with the colleague and the head of traumatology, Dr. Arsovski.” The transfer underscores the specialized level of medical care required for the man following his injuries.
