The Municipality of Drenasi opens the application for the temporary use of public spaces in the square

The Municipality of Drenas has initiated a process allowing commercial entities to apply for the temporary use of public space situated in front of their local businesses. This provision was established following a collaborative agreement between the Municipality of Drenas and the relevant economic operator concerning the regulation of the city’s square, and it also responds to direct requests from local commercial enterprises. To proceed, any interested commercial entity must submit a formal application that adheres to the Municipal Regulation on Taxes, Tariffs, Fees, and Fines, alongside all other applicable legal and under-legal instruments governing the temporary occupation of public areas.

The Directorate of Urbanization and Environmental Protection has issued a notice inviting all commercial entities—both those currently utilizing such spaces and those planning to do so—to submit their permit applications directly to the Directorate. This measure aims to formalize and regulate the commercial presence in public areas. The established procedure ensures that the use of public space remains compliant with municipal ordinances while providing a structured avenue for businesses to operate temporarily outside their premises.

Adherence to the stipulated regulations is mandatory for the approval of any temporary permits issued by the municipality.
