The Municipality of Podujevë has issued a public request for proposals related to the “Support with Fidelity and Irrigation System” initiative. This project is designed to bolster agricultural yields and enhance the livelihoods of local farming communities. The call for applications was released by the Directorate of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development of Kosovo, following established regulations for subsidy distribution within the agricultural sector.
The core of the project involves providing financial support to farmers through the installation of fidelity systems and irrigation infrastructure. Each eligible beneficiary will receive a grant of 1000 euros to facilitate this investment. Specifically, the program will assist ten farmers dedicated to saffron cultivation and irrigation, alongside another ten farmers focused on sorghum and irrigation.
To be considered for this support, applicants must furnish the necessary documentation. This includes a duplicate copy of their identification documents and a family certificate. The aim is to ensure that the project effectively benefits the targeted farmers and contributes to improved agricultural production through enhanced irrigation capabilities.
