The Mayor of Podujeva Municipality, Shpejtim Bulliqi, has announced the designation of specific areas to accommodate vehicles belonging to returning emigrants visiting Kosovo. This directive establishes designated parking zones intended to manage increased traffic flow within the city during periods when a significant number of compatriots are on holiday. Bulliqi stated that the measure aims to ease overall vehicle circulation and create necessary additional parking capacity, thereby contributing to more efficient movement management throughout the municipality.
The administration has identified several key locations for this purpose. These designated parking sites include the IAAP “Isa Boletini,” the SHFMU “Enver Maloku,” the SHFMU “Dr. Ibrahim Rugova,” the Gymnasium “Aleksandër Xhuvani,” and the IAAP “Fan S.
Noli.”
The implementation of these designated locations reflects a proactive effort by the local government to manage infrastructure demands. The plan specifically addresses the anticipated surge in vehicular presence associated with the holiday season, ensuring that essential civic areas and thoroughfares can maintain reasonable accessibility for residents and visitors alike. The initiative focuses on systematically allocating space to support the movement of vehicles entering the municipality.
