The Parliament writes on Facebook about meetings with the PDK and LDK: Let’s talk about concrete results soon, but we remain optimistic

Albin Kurti, the leader of the Self-Determination Movement (LVV), issued a statement following separate consultations with the leaders of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK). These meetings were part of the broader efforts to establish new institutional frameworks subsequent to the recent parliamentary elections. Via a Facebook post, Kurti indicated that discussing definitive outcomes at this juncture remains premature.

However, he conveyed a sense of optimism regarding the ongoing process. “It is still too early to talk about concrete results, but we remain optimistic about the way forward,” Kurti stated. He elaborated that while the constructive atmosphere during the discussions does not constitute an agreement or a guarantee of success, the initial nature of these talks provides reason for hope.

The statement noted that because these were among the first meetings following the official certification of the election results, there is an expectation for continued progress. Kurti’s positive sentiment was particularly highlighted after his meeting with Abdixhik. The consultations are framed as crucial steps in the post-election political maneuvering aimed at stabilizing Kosovo’s governance structures.
