Arian Tahiri, the head of the PDK Parliamentary Group, will introduce a dedicated resolution during the upcoming session. His intention is to ensure the Kosovo Assembly consistently champions the most important values and respects those who sacrificed during the war. Speaking on Debat Plus, tahiri stressed the necessity for reflection and subsequent adjustments within the legislative framework.
Specifically, he highlighted the need to revise the Criminal Code, bolstering protections for these vital values. The discussion also centered on the exhibition featuring Shkëlzen Gashi, which presented flawed information concerning the massacres that took place in Kosovo between 1998 and 1999. Tahiri clarified that the initial funding request originated from an organization, while the project’s actual execution was managed by a separate entity.
“We are pursuing an investigation to understand the reasons behind this deliberate manipulation,” tahiri explained. The pdk leader’s aim is to establish accountability and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future, reaffirming the assembly’s commitment to truth and justice.
