Drug Laboratory Discovered in Peja Following Police Operation
Peja – The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Peja has revealed details following the discovery of a drug laboratory in Jabllanicë e Vogël village. Prosecutor Sahide Gashi outlined the circumstances surrounding the operation, which was conducted in collaboration with the Police of Kosovo. The operation was initiated after receiving intelligence from field sources, which were subsequently verified through secure channels and supported by a warrant issued by a competent court.
The investigation led to the identification and subsequent seizure of a drug cultivation laboratory at a suspected location within the village. According to Prosecutor Gashi, the laboratory was equipped with advanced technology utilized for cultivating narcotics. “We received information from field work by the Anti-Drug Unit in Pejë,” she stated.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected to be released as the case progresses. The prosecutor provided information regarding the operation’s origins and the nature of the equipment found at the site.
