Speaking on Kp, Rrustemi criticized the ongoing political maneuvers, describing them as inadequate for addressing the core governance issues facing the country. According to Rrustemi, the immediate priority is reaching a consensus regarding the election of a president.
He argued that the country requires a definitive agreement on this role, suggesting that the current deadlock stems from the opposition’s refusal to cooperate constructively. “Kosovo does not need theatrical shows and midnight spectacles, but an agreement for the president,” Rrustemi asserted. He emphasized that overcoming the current governance crisis hinges solely on political parties setting aside partisan differences.
The movement’s deputy called for an immediate convening of all political stakeholders. He stressed that achieving a consensus on a non-partisan president is the singular mechanism capable of stabilizing the political environment. Rrustemi urged that political parties must quickly agree on this matter, asserting that such an agreement must materialize soon to ensure the functioning of the state.
