“Rising Stars” Music Festival Returns to Gjilan for Ninth Edition
The internationally recognized “Rising Stars” music festival is set to return this summer, marking its ninth edition and transforming Gjilan into a central hub for global musical talent. The event, organized by Arta Haziri Nuhiu, will take place from June 25th to 29th. Haziri Nuhiu, the festival director, discussed the increased interest surrounding this year’s “rising stars” event, noting that applications will remain open until May 20th.
She emphasized that “Rising Stars” caters to a diverse range of artists, encompassing all age groups – from young performers to adult musicians. A key addition for 2024 is the introduction of a dedicated 25+ category, attracting international participants. This year’s lineup includes Italian artist Giosue Calabria from Naples and Atun Srimiy representing Indonesia.
The festival continues to build on its reputation as a platform for emerging musical talent, fostering connections and showcasing diverse musical styles. Organizers anticipate a significant turnout and a vibrant atmosphere during the “Rising Stars” festival.
