The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (ASK) has released the Social Welfare Statistics for June 2026. The data indicates that the Child Allowance scheme continues to be the most utilized, with the child allowance remaining the largest beneficiary program. According to ASK figures, in June, 401,786 children received benefits through the Child Allowance scheme, totaling 14,551,950.00 euros distributed.
Other significant welfare programs saw substantial participation. Basic old-age pensions benefited 168,812 individuals, with payments amounting to 26,968,970.00 euros. Separately, 47,971 contributing pensioners received a total of 11,733,751.60 euros.
The veterans’ scheme provided support to 39,561 people, with disbursements reaching 7,838,523.14 euros. Additionally, 12,395 families designated as war victims and invalids received 3,770,279.71 euros. Furthermore, 15,090 families benefited from other specified welfare provisions.
These statistics provide a detailed overview of the distribution of social welfare payments across various support schemes during the specified month, highlighting the continued prominence of support for children.
