“The UÇK is a reality,” Ahmet reveals what Rugova was given by the LPK

During an appearance on the “Debat Plus” program, in a segment titled “Dosjet,” Ali Ahmeti addressed the political associations within Kosovo during the 1990s. Ahmeti spoke about the relationships between the People’s Liberation Movement of Kosovo and the Democratic League of Kosovo, alongside various prominent Albanian political figures of the era. A significant portion of his discussion focused on his acquaintance with Sabri Novosella.

Ahmeti clarified the nature of his connection, noting that while he resided near the Novosella family, he maintained no organizational ties with Sabri Novosella. He elaborated that during his time as a student, he lived with Adnan, the son of Qazim, who is part of a family described as “patriots” with historical alignment to the nation’s right wing. Regarding Sabri Novosella specifically, Ahmeti stated that his knowledge of him was distant.

He emphasized that despite the proximity of his living arrangements, he had neither established organizational connections nor subsequent personal contact with him. These statements provide a detailed account of the political networking and personal associations surrounding key figures in Kosovo during a turbulent period of Albanian history. The discussion centered on delineating the boundaries between personal acquaintance and formal political affiliation within the region.
