Thirteen fires were extinguished in Macedonia today, one of which is still active.

As of 8:00 PM this evening, authorities reported a total of 13 open-air fires recorded across the region. According to the Crisis Management Center (QMK), the status of these incidents shows that while efforts are ongoing, a significant number of the fires have been brought under control. Specifically, eleven of the reported fires have been completely extinguished.

Currently, there remains one active fire situation. Furthermore, the fire at a depot located in Vizbegë has been brought under control, alongside an active fire reported within the municipality of Butelit. In a separate development, the fire at the city depot in Demir Hisar has also been brought under control.

The 11 extinguished sites were documented across various municipalities. These locations include incidents in the Municipality of Butelit at Lubotenski pat, and within the Municipality of Zelenikova along the road to Strahojadicë. Other extinguished sites were reported in the Municipality of Gazi Baba, specifically in the village of Bulaçani, and in the Municipality of Petrovec, near the village of Sredno Konjare.

Additionally, the controlled incidents covered the Municipality of Karposhte in Bardovci, the Municipality of Prilep in the village of Lenishte, and the Municipality of Ohr near Kadmo beach. Another recorded incident was in the Municipality of Gradsko. These reports confirm the extensive nature of the open-air fires that required coordinated response efforts throughout the area.
