Threatened and restrained a client and hit a police officer; owners of a store in Tirana arrested

Two owners of an electronics store located in the former Customs area were arrested by police following allegations that they detained and physically assaulted a client at the premises. Albanian citizens S. A., aged 63, and E.

H., aged 41, were taken into custody after authorities suspected they had threatened and unlawfully held the client within the store. Police intervention was required to de-escalate the situation. In addition to the initial charges, the 41-year-old owner, E.

H., is also suspected of assaulting a police officer, resulting in minor injuries. According to reports, officers from Police Precinct No. 6 apprehended both individuals.

The detention followed an alleged conflict that arose between the owners and a client within the electronics store. The police stated that the confrontation escalated, leading to the owners allegedly detaining and restricting the client’s freedom against her will. The intervention by law enforcement was necessary to restore order at the location.

The incident highlights an altercation that began with a dispute between the business owners and a customer inside the retail establishment.
