The Kosovo Police conducted an operation on the Ferizaj–Prishtina highway, leading to the detention of three individuals suspected of involvement in the possession and sale of narcotics. According to official reports, the police stopped two vehicles at approximately 11:30 PM, where they found the three Kosovar men. During the initial inspection of the vehicles, authorities discovered one of the men in possession of a rolled cigarette containing an estimated 0.9 grams of marijuana, alongside €330 in cash.
The investigation continued beyond the initial roadside stop. Following the initial findings, the police conducted a search of the suspects’ private residence. During this search, law enforcement officers confiscated significant quantities of controlled substances and currency, which were seized as material evidence.
Specifically, police recovered 33 bags containing suspected marijuana, totaling 96 grams, as well as four bags of suspected cocaine weighing 0.34 grams. Additionally, €1,000 in cash was confiscated from the premises. The three men were subsequently arrested by the police.
Following their detention, the individuals were taken into custody for detailed interrogation by authorities. The operation underscores the ongoing efforts of the police to combat drug trafficking within the region. The confiscated narcotics and cash are currently being processed as evidence in connection with the ongoing investigation.
