Three laboratories are analyzing the water in Gostivar; results are expected within 12 hours.

Three institutions equipped with water analysis laboratories are undertaking a coordinated effort to test the water quality in Gostivar. Zudi Xhelili, a member of the Municipal Crisis Staff, confirmed that following an agreement established the previous day, the three laboratories will collect samples from seven distinct locations. Initial analysis results are anticipated within the next 12 hours.

Xhelili stated that the testing process will include repeat analyses to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data gathered. Following the completion of these tests, representatives from the participating institutions will collaborate to issue a joint statement detailing the findings. The primary objective of this coordinated testing is to assess the potability of the local water supply.

According to Xhelili, if the comprehensive analyses confirm that the water meets all necessary safety standards, residents will be permitted to resume using the tap water for drinking purposes. This multi-agency approach involving the three laboratories aims to provide the community with verified information regarding the quality of the water.
