Through music and dancing, the Italian KFOR promotes peace in Kosovo

The Italian contingent of the KFOR mission, alongside the Italian Embassy in Kosovo, organized a concert at the “Film City” camp in Pristina to mark the occasion of Italian Republic Day. The event was attended by the Italian Ambassador to Kosovo, Maurizio Antonini, along with civil and military authorities, representatives from international organizations operating in Kosovo, and the families of the young performers. The cultural program showcased performances from the “Okarina Children’s Choir,” featuring children aged five to twelve.

Complementing the musical acts, students from the ‘Don Bosco’ Institute presented traditional dances, contributing to a festive and cultural ambiance. Through these artistic endeavors, the Italian KFOR continues to promote themes of peace within Kosovo. Ambassador Antonini used the event to underscore the importance of friendship.

The concert served as a notable cultural engagement organized by the Italian presence in Kosovo. The participation of various community members and institutions highlighted the collaborative efforts supporting stability in the region, reinforcing the role of the Italian contingent within the broader KFOR mission framework.
