The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has announced a temporary restriction on the movement of certain vehicles on the highway for Sunday, August 2nd. This measure is in response to the official temperature forecast. The circulation restriction will specifically apply to vehicles exceeding 20 tons and will be enforced between 11:00 and 17:30.
The decision was made because the predicted temperature is expected to reach 32°C or higher, necessitating caution regarding heavy loads. According to the ministry, while the restriction is in effect on the main highway, circulation on national, regional, and connecting roads remains unrestricted. Several categories of vehicles are exempt from this weight restriction.
These include those belonging to state organs, public security forces, emergency services, and health institutions. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has advised all operators and drivers to adhere strictly to this temporary regulation and to plan their travel itineraries accordingly to ensure safety and compliance.
