Tourism in Kosovo maintained a positive trajectory throughout June 2026, marked by a notable increase in hotel visitors compared to the previous year. Data released by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (ASK) indicates that a total of 70,234 visitors were recorded in the country’s hotels during June of this year. Of this total, 28,638 were local residents, while 41,596 were foreign visitors.
This figure represents a substantial rise when compared to June 2025, when 63,502 visitors were registered. The overall increase of 10.6 percent suggests a growing interest in Kosovo as a tourist destination. Furthermore, the number of overnight stays also reached a high level, contributing to the sector’s positive performance.
