Motorcyclist Injured in Skopje Traffic Accident

Skopje – The Ministry of Interior (MPB) reported a traffic accident that occurred on May 5, 2026, involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle. The incident took place on the service road connecting “Hristijan Todorovski-Karposh” boulevard and “e Butelit” street in Skopje. According to MPB, the Skopje Police Department (SPB) responded to a notification of the accident at approximately 3:00 PM.

A “Smart” vehicle, registered in Skopje and driven by S.Sh. (32), a resident of Skopje, was involved in a collision with a motorcycle registered in Skopje, driven by D.M. (29), a resident of Radisani, a suburb of Skopje.

The motorcyclist, D.M., sustained serious bodily injuries as confirmed by the Public Health Institution “St. Naum of Ohrid”-Skopje. The SPB Skopje investigative team is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the traffic accident.

Further details regarding the cause of the collision are pending the completion of the investigation. The incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding road safety within the Skopje area.
