Traffic accident on the Tetovë-Skopje highway, five people injured

Five individuals were injured following a motor vehicle accident that occurred last night on the Tetovo-Skopje highway. According to reports from MPB, the collision involved two vehicles: a Volkswagen Caddy truck bearing Skopje license plates and a Golf sedan with Ohrid registration plates. The accident resulted in injuries to two drivers and three passengers.

All injured parties were transported to major medical facilities in Skopje, specifically the Clinical Center and “8 Shtatori,” for immediate treatment. The incident caused significant disruption to the flow of vehicles, leading to a major traffic blockage and extensive queues of cars along the highway corridor. Authorities responded to manage the ensuing traffic difficulties.

Following the collision, an official investigation has been initiated to determine the precise causes of the accident. The authorities are currently examining the circumstances surrounding the crash to ascertain liability and prevent future incidents on the route connecting the two cities.
