Student Dies at Ferizaj Secondary School
A 15-year-old student at the “Kuvendi i Arbërit” secondary school in Ferizaj died on April 17, 2026, following an incident at the school. According to police reports, the incident occurred at approximately 3:15 PM in the school’s physical education hall. Initial reports indicate the student collapsed and became unconscious.
Emergency medical services were immediately dispatched and transported him to the Ferizaj Emergency Center. Despite efforts by attending physicians, the student succumbed to his injuries. Police spokesperson Kanun Veseli confirmed the event to Telegrafin.
Following the incident, investigators from the Ferizaj station, regional investigators, and forensic experts were notified and responded to the scene. They initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the student’s death. The cause of the student’s collapse remains under investigation.
