The company, Trepça Sh.A., stated that the demolition is aimed at reclaiming the parcel number 02537-1 located in Mitrovica north.

Express reports that over 20 garages and other buildings constructed without legal authorization were identified during a field assessment of the area. The initial notice, sent on February 13th, specifically addressed the disputed parcel. Following the missed deadline, Trepça Sh.A.

announced the commencement of the process to release the land. The demolition includes the removal of all structures built without proper legal authorization. Local authorities have not yet commented on the ongoing activity.
