Authorities in Pristina have reported the arrest of an individual suspected of assaulting two citizens and causing property damage during an incident that occurred on Saturday evening. According to police reports, the incident took place on the streets of the capital around 8:20 PM. The suspect, identified as a Turkish male citizen, was reportedly under the influence of alcohol when he allegedly assaulted two victims, who were both Kosovar nationals—one male and one female.
Following the altercation, both victims required medical attention for their injuries sustained at the scene. Police officers responded to the area and apprehended the suspect at the location. Subsequently, based on a decision from the prosecutor’s office, the individual was taken into custody.
Authorities confirmed that a formal investigation has been initiated to determine the full extent of the damages and the circumstances surrounding the assault. The case remains under the jurisdiction of competent investigative bodies.
