Turqia has allocated 3.8 million euros for Kosovo

Kosovo’s Minister of Interior, Ujë Mehmeti, and Members of Parliament are exploring options to expand the capacity of the FSK, the Federal Security Corps, to accommodate a budget of 3.8 million euros. The proposal is being considered as a means of bolstering national security, according to officials. The initiative stems from a recognition of the ongoing need for enhanced security measures within the country.

Those involved in the discussions emphasize the importance of treating this matter with serious consideration. However, alongside the security benefits, concerns have been raised regarding the potential economic impact of such a significant investment. Representatives are carefully evaluating the financial implications of increasing the FSK’s operational budget.

“This is a matter of national security, and we must take it seriously,” stated a parliamentary source. The discussion centers on balancing the vital need for a strengthened security force with the broader economic realities facing Kosovo. Further details regarding the proposed funding and the anticipated economic effects are expected to be released following ongoing deliberations within the government and parliament.

The goal remains to strengthen security while mitigating any potential adverse consequences.
