The indictment alleges that the detainees are suspected of the criminal act of “Cultivation of cannabis, coca, or cannabis plants,” citing Article 172, paragraph 1, in conjunction with Article 31 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo. The Prosecutor’s notice details that on October 9, 2025, law enforcement agencies conducted a control in Prizren.

During this operation, cannabis plants were discovered and subsequently seized from the property of the two detainees, which the authorities allege were cultivated by them. Additionally, the Prosecutor’s Office referenced forensic expertise findings in connection with the case. These proceedings indicate a formal legal action has been taken regarding the alleged cultivation of illicit substances.
