Two consumers in Hajvali disconnected from the water supply, accumulating a debt of approximately 14 thousand euros.

The Regional Water Utility Company “Prishtina” has reported the disconnection of public water service for two residences located on “Brigada 153” street in the Hajvali area. The action was taken due to outstanding arrears on utility billing. According to KRU “Prishtina,” the utility determined that the two consumers accumulated significant financial obligations to the company.

The individual debts cited amount to approximately 5,000 euros and 9,000 euros, respectively. Consequently, the total outstanding debt across these two accounts reaches an estimated 14,000 euros. The utility stated that after a prolonged period of accumulating unpaid service charges, measures were deemed necessary to suspend the water supply to both properties.

KRU “Prishtina” issued a statement emphasizing the critical importance of adhering to financial commitments related to public utility services. The company stressed that timely payment is essential for maintaining the reliable operation and sustainability of the public water infrastructure. The disconnection serves as a reminder of the financial obligations associated with utilizing the municipal water network.
