Police have launched two separate criminal inquiries: one concerning “Assault” and another regarding “Vandalism,” following an incident in Kacanik on March 31, 2026. The investigation began after the discovery of two firearms. The individual identified as E.B., aged 26, is the primary suspect in the “Assault” case.
Following an interview, Mr. E.B. confessed to holding two weapons that were legally obtained – a shotgun and a pistol – alongside accompanying ammunition.
The Investigation Unit, working with the Rapid Response Unit and under the direction of the state prosecutor, subsequently secured two weapons and a total of 51 rounds. Subsequently, suspect E.B. was released as per standard protocol.
Meanwhile, another individual, H.B., was located while investigating the “Vandalism” case. The authorities are continuing their work to determine the full extent of the offenses.
