Two individuals died Saturday evening following a serious incident in the village of Karmë e Vaut e Dejës, located in the Shkodër District. According to local police reports, both men died after coming into contact with an electric current in the outdoor areas of a property. The first victim identified was Sokol Preka, aged 40.
Preka was reportedly employed as a guard at the premises where the incident took place and died as a result of the electrical contact. Subsequently, David Deda, a 46-year-old electrician who was also involved in the incident, died during transport to the hospital.
