From August 3 to August 7, 2026, two officials from the Kosovo Police participated in an international internship and police experience exchange program at the Brandenburg Police University in Germany. The training provided an opportunity for the officials to interact with police colleagues from numerous international countries and organizations. According to a media statement, the intensive program was designed to facilitate the exchange of professional expertise across various domains.
Participants engaged in joint tactical and operational exercises, received practical training in areas such as executing arrests, conducting object controls, and managing cases involving domestic violence. The curriculum also included site visits to diverse units within the German Police force, notably featuring the water police and specialized operational units. Beyond law enforcement training, the scope of the international program extended to cultural and governmental immersion.
Participants toured Berlin and visited the German Bundestag, broadening their understanding of civic governance alongside police procedures.
