Two robberies in Pristina, one at a supermarket and another at a derivatives point

The Kosovo Police have reported two separate robbery incidents that occurred in Pristina on August 28, 2026. The incidents took place at a local supermarket and a nearby gas station. According to the police report, the first robbery occurred at a supermarket.

A male employee reported that he was robbed of €250 by an individual who threatened him with a knife before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were sustained during the incident. Following the report, the police unit successfully identified and apprehended the suspected individual, who has been confirmed as a male Kosovo citizen.

By order of the prosecutor’s office, the suspect was taken into custody. Separately, a second robbery was reported by a worker at a gas station. This complainant stated that an unknown individual robbed him of €430 after making threats, and the suspect subsequently left the area without being identified.

The police are actively investigating both incidents. The swift action taken by law enforcement resulted in the arrest of the suspect involved in the supermarket robbery. These reports highlight continued police activity addressing property crime within the city of Pristina.
