Kosovo Police Arrest Two Suspects in Drug Trafficking Operation

Pristina, Kosovo – On April 24, 2026, the Kosovo Police announced the arrest of two suspects in connection with drug trafficking activities. Acting in coordination with the guardian prosecutor, law enforcement conducted searches at two locations within Kosovo. During the operation, authorities seized a quantity of illicit substances and related materials.

A total of eleven containers were discovered containing a narcotic substance identified as marijuana, weighing 20.21 grams. Additionally, two plastic containers were recovered, each containing residue identified as cocaine. Financial evidence included cash totaling 1785 euros and 2000 lek.

Two mobile phones were also seized as part of the investigation. The operation was conducted by units from the Kosovo Police’s Trafficking Investigation Directorate. The two suspects are currently in custody as the investigation continues.
