During a visit to China, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić issued a statement concerning the situation in Kosovo, particularly following the control of railway stations in Zvečan and Leposavić by institutions associated with Kosovo. Vučić expressed significant concern for the Serbian population residing in the region, asserting that the Serbs in Kosovo are currently facing considerable difficulties. Addressing the media, the President stated that Serbia remains committed to providing comprehensive assistance to the Serbian community in Kosovo.

He suggested that the current trajectory indicates mounting challenges for ethnic Serbs, emphasizing the importance of remaining connected to their ancestral lands. He announced that Serbia intends to wait for a favorable geopolitical moment before pursuing further action.
