Most recently, a piece of graffiti bearing the inscription “When the army returns to Kosovo” was found in Peruçac, located in the Bajina Bashta area. This specific graffiti was painted on a wall along the road leading toward Mitrovica in Trepça, utilizing large lettering and the colors associated with the Serbian flag.
Local Serbian media reported that the graffiti appeared on August 9, the same day Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić issued threats regarding a vital water source for Kosovo, the Ujman reservoir. Vučić reportedly threatened to alter the flow of the Ibar River, according to KosovoPress. These incidents are not isolated occurrences.
