The Regional Water Supply Company “Mitrovica” has issued a notice regarding temporary interruptions to the water supply in several locations within Mitrovica. Maintenance crews are currently engaged in upkeep of the main water supply network across multiple streets and villages. Specific areas affected by the network maintenance include “Afrim Xh.Hyseni” Street, “Ukshin Kovaqica” Street, “Sylyshët” Street, “Asllan Cimili” Street, Frashër Village, and Vidimriq Village.
Furthermore, work is also taking place on the sewage network within the following areas: “Martirët e Kombit” Street, “Shemsi Ahmeti” Street, and the “Koloni” Neighborhood. The notice advises residents that once the water supply is restored following these technical interventions, the water may initially appear turbid. To address this, the company recommends that residents allow the tap to run for several minutes until the water clears completely.
The public is advised to exercise patience while these essential infrastructure repairs are completed to ensure the continued functionality of the local water system.
