An individual was injured by armed assailants in the early hours of August 22 on the Sarosh–Rahovec regional road. According to the Kosovo Police, the incident began when the victim, who was operating a vehicle, was signaled by another car. Upon stopping, an individual fired a weapon in the victim’s direction, resulting in an injury to the back of his head.
Following the shooting, the suspect reportedly approached the victim and struck him several times using the butt of a short gun. During the ensuing altercation, the victim managed to disarm the suspect, taking possession of the weapon. The victim subsequently left the area to seek necessary medical attention.
Police units arrived at the scene where officers confiscated a non-functional pistol. The injured victim was immediately transported for medical treatment. Authorities are investigating the assault.
