Kosovo Police Seize Weapons in Lipjan Operation
Lipjan, Kosovo – On May 3, 2026, the Kosovo Police conducted an operation resulting in the seizure of weapons and ammunition at two separate locations in the town of Lipjan. The operation, carried out under the direction of a prosecutor, targeted the residences of two suspects – a woman and a Kosovar male – on “Bajram Gashi” street around 13:00. During the searches, police discovered and confiscated a firearm, a 9-round magazine, and fourteen additional rounds of ammunition.
Additionally, two empty magazines were also seized. Following the interrogation of the male suspect, the prosecutor ordered his detention. The female suspect was subsequently released according to standard legal procedure.
