Weather in Albania

Stable atmospheric conditions are anticipated across Albania this Saturday, according to the Military Meteorological Service. The general weather forecast predicts a mix of cloud cover interspersed with periods of sunshine, with conditions expected to be mainly moderate. The best visibility and clearest conditions are projected for the mountain reliefs in the east-southeast, particularly between noon and the afternoon hours.

Regarding precipitation, the forecast indicates that rain showers will be light, short-lived, and localized. These showers are expected mainly across the eastern and southern regions of the country. While the majority of the territory is predicted to remain dry, isolated, short-lived thunderstorms are possible within the mountainous areas.

It is anticipated that all rain activity will cease after the afternoon period. In terms of wind patterns, the prevailing direction will be from the northeast toward the northwest. Wind speeds are forecast to average 7 meters per second along the coastline and in valley areas, with occasional gusts reaching up to 14 meters per second.

For maritime conditions, wave heights in both the Adriatic and Ionian Seas are expected to register between 1 and 3 Beaufort. Overall, the weather pattern suggests variability throughout the day, requiring residents to monitor localized conditions, particularly concerning potential afternoon thunderstorms in elevated areas.
