What the weather holds for us in September, says Mendim Rugova

Meteorologist Mendim Rugova has issued a forecast regarding the expected shift in regional climate patterns for the upcoming month of September. Speaking to Lajme Gazeta Express, Rugova advised the public that following the high temperatures experienced throughout August, the weather conditions are anticipated to become cooler and receive increased rainfall during September. According to Rugova’s analysis, the latter half of September may be marked by noticeable atmospheric changes and more pronounced precipitation.

He noted that this transition reflects the natural shift as the region moves from late summer into the autumn season. Rugova further elaborated that these predictions are based on long-term seasonal forecasts calculated at the beginning of the month. He indicated that, given the relative dryness experienced during August—despite July having been humid, particularly in the Pristina area—the overall pattern suggests a higher probability of increased rainfall throughout the coming autumn months.

The advisories from Rugova emphasize the variability expected in the weather patterns. Residents are advised to prepare for a transition away from the heat of summer towards more typical autumn weather, characterized by cooler temperatures and a greater frequency of rainfall throughout September. The forecasts suggest monitoring local meteorological updates as the seasonal transition continues.
