Zayn Malik announced his recovery following a period of hospitalization coinciding with the release of his new album, “Konnakol.” In a statement released on the album’s launch day, malik expressed gratitude for his fans’ unwavering support during a challenging week. “It’s been a long week and I’m still unexpectedly recovering,” he stated. “I’m heartbroken that I couldn’t see you all this week and without you I wouldn’t be where I am and I’m grateful for your understanding.”
The singer extended his thanks to the medical staff at the hospital, specifically acknowledging the contributions of doctors, cardiologists, and nurses who provided care.
“You all are a legend, I thank you very much,” he said. Malik declined to disclose the specific details surrounding his hospitalization. Despite the circumstances, Malik is scheduled to perform at Rough Trade Below in New York City on Monday.
