1,812 fines and 52 accidents during one week in the Ferizaj region

The Ferizaj Regional Police reported significant enforcement activities aimed at enhancing road safety over the period spanning April 27 to August 2, 2026. As part of these operations, the police issued 1,812 anti-resistance fines and suspended ten driver licenses. The enforcement actions coincided with a period where a total of 52 traffic accidents were recorded.

Of these incidents, 18 resulted in injuries, accounting for a cumulative total of 26 reported injuries. The remaining 34 accidents involved only material damage. The police stated that the suspension of the ten driver licenses was directly attributable to serious violations of traffic regulations.

The department emphasized that these measures are part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety standards.
