The Mitrovica Water Utility Company (KRU) has scheduled maintenance interventions across the water and sewage infrastructure in Mitrovica and several surrounding villages. These scheduled works are necessary to maintain and improve the local utility network. Specific areas slated for water supply improvements include “Dëshmorët e Kombit,” “Isak Ibrahimi,” “Tish Daija,” and “Lumi” streets within Vaganicë, as well as the villages of Zasellë, Vërnicë, and Rahovë.
Additional water network maintenance will take place on “Karadjordjeva” and “Drvarska” streets. For the sewage network, interventions will be conducted on “Kumanova,” “Ali Pashë Tepelena,” “Brdjani,” and “Nemanjina” streets, along with work in the village of Vaganicë. KRU Mitrovica has issued a warning to residents regarding potential temporary disruptions to the water supply during these maintenance periods.
Furthermore, consumers have been advised that following the restoration of the service, the water may exhibit temporary changes in quality or pressure. These scheduled activities are part of ongoing efforts to ensure the reliable function of the water and sewage infrastructure throughout the Mitrovica area.
