36-year-old from Kosovo arrested for two attacks in Sweden

A 36-year-old man of Kosovo descent, identified by Swedish media as Emir Nuredini, has been arrested and detained in Sweden on suspicion of carrying out attacks targeting two locations in Solvesborg. According to reports from Swedish police, the first incident took place at the local offices of the Swedish Social Democratic Party. Authorities suspect that during this event, the individual broke windows and attempted to set the premises on fire.

Police reportedly discovered a jerrycan containing flammable material and a bag of stones at the scene, leading to the suspect’s arrest near the location, as reported by Klankosova.tv. Later that same evening, further damage was reported at a separate establishment, the “Family Market” store, which is situated on the same street as the Social Democratic headquarters. The suspect, who is 36 years old and has origins in Kosovo, remains in custody pending investigation into the nature and scope of these incidents.

Swedish authorities are investigating the sequence of events surrounding the two separate attacks.
