Over 99% of processed votes, this is how the parties rank in the seven largest municipalities

With over 99 percent of the votes processed at the local level, preliminary results from the parliamentary elections are offering greater clarity regarding the political landscape across Kosovo’s largest municipalities. To date, the Vetëvendosje Movement has secured leading positions in seven major municipalities. Specific data from key areas highlights the distribution of votes.

In Gjakova, the VV recorded 48.72 percent of the votes, while the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo received 27.49 percent, the Democratic League of Kosovo garnered 12.38 percent, and the Democratic Party of Kosovo obtained 6.97 percent. Similar patterns were observed in Gjilan, where VV led with 54.18 percent of the votes. The LDK followed with 22.04 percent, the PDK accounted for 14.91 percent, and the AAK received 3.22 percent.

In the municipality of Mitrovica, VV also leads significantly, capturing 60.53 percent of the votes. The PDK placed second, securing 26.02 percent, followed by the LDK with 9.14 percent. These figures, based on the processed votes across these municipalities, provide a snapshot of the electoral support.

The reported percentages indicate varying degrees of support for the major political blocs across Kosovo’s largest population centers.
